GreySheeters Anonymous World Service

Purpose

Greysheeters Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other to recover from compulsive overeating by following the GreySheet, a food plan for carbohydrate sensitive people.  We weigh and measure without exception three meals a day with nothing in between except black coffee, tea, diet soda, or water.  We utilize the program of Alcoholics Anonymous in arresting compulsive overeating.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop eating compulsively.  There are no dues or fees for GreySheeters Anonymous membership.  We are self-supporting through our own contributions.  GSA is not allied with any sect, denomination, religion, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.  Our primary purpose is to help compulsive overeaters to achieve abstinence.

What is Greysheeters Anonymous World Services, Inc.?
In 1996 the world-wide GreySheet Community was surveyed by a GreySheet Task Force.  The primary request in the survey was for the community to create a formal organization to carry its message of recovery from compulsive overeating using the GreySheet and the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.  The result is recovery on three levels - physical, emotional, and spiritual.  On April 6, 1998 GreySheeters Anonymous World Services, Inc. was incorporated as a Twelve Step program to implement the mandates of the survey.
